My Work
I am deadline-driven, decisive, and I like putting new twists on old stories. My clients like working with me because I turn things around quickly, and we have fun working together.
Writing is cathartic for me. When I am writing for myself, I like to use a stream of consciousness style, then edit.
When I am writing for others, I ask what matters most? How can we personalize it to draw in the reader?
When I edit, I often find less is more. I try to simplify language by use active verbs and metaphors that explain things succinctly. I love words.
I have launched a magazine (Teton Spirit Connection) and a mobile phone application. I manage writers, create website copy and plan and execute digital media for my passion projects, which include Six Minutes Daily and TEDxJH.

From Hard News to Wellness
A Graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill Master’s in Journalism and Boston College, I spent my 20s in Chicago, Washington D.C. and New York covering everything from cattle futures and stock options to politics and police corruption. I disrupted local governments in daily newspapers and moved markets on business newswires. After 9/11, I left my job to travel and became a full-time mom. These days, I write mostly about wellness, adventure, travel and design. I have ghost written for fascinating people – a wildlife biologist and cowboy turned politician, an emergency medicine doctor who does backcountry rescues and a Catholic Priest among others. And I have traveled to extraordinary places.
